• Claim Process: If you’ve won a PayPal prize, the first thing you’ll need to do is join our Discord server (if you haven’t already). This is the only way to submit your payment details and claim your prize.

• Sending Your Details: Head over to the #prize-claims channel and DM one of the staff members listed there. You’ll need to provide your PayPal email and confirm the amount you’re claiming.

This post highlights all the fixes we’ve implemented, the ongoing projects we’re tackling, and a few issues we’re waiting to resolve with our plugin developer. Recent Fixes and Updates:

We’ve addressed a number of bugs and issues that have been affecting gameplay, server performance, and general stability. Here’s a breakdown of what’s been fixed recently:

• Plugin Translations:

  • Battlepass – Translations have been updated, ensuring all Battlepass-related content is clear and consistent across the server. No more missing text or placeholder messages!
  • BrokenBlock Rewards – The reward system tied to block-breaking events has been fully translated, making it easier to understand and navigate for players of all experience levels.

• Gameplay Fixes:

  • Robots – A bug that caused robots to malfunction or not perform tasks correctly has been fixed. Your robots will now work as intended, assisting with mining and automation!
  • NPC’s – NPC interactions were inconsistent or non-responsive for some players. This has now been resolved, and all NPCs should be fully functional.
  • Pickaxe Shards – Shards weren’t registering correctly in some cases. This fix ensures that shards are properly collected and applied to upgrades.
  • Pets – Issues with pet spawning, abilities, and overall pet behavior have been addressed. Pets should now be reliable companions on your mining journey.

• Server Stability and Performance:

  • MySQL Databases – Several database-related errors were causing performance issues. We’ve optimized and fixed these to ensure the server runs smoothly with minimal lag.
  • KeepAlive Timeout Bug – Players were occasionally being disconnected due to keepAlive timeout errors. This has been fixed to ensure more stable connections.
  • java.net.SocketException (Connection Reset) – This error was a major cause of random disconnections. We’ve isolated and resolved the issue, significantly improving server uptime and player stability.

• User Interface and Player Experience:

  • GUI Menus – Glitches and missing options in various GUI menus have been corrected, ensuring all interfaces work smoothly.
  • Gangs – An issue affecting gang creation, management, and player invitations has been fixed. Gangs are now fully operational.
  • ViaVersion / ViaRewind – We’ve updated and patched these plugins to ensure smoother compatibility for players on different Minecraft versions. You should now be able to join the server from a wider range of versions without running into errors.

In Progress / Need Updating:

While we’ve made significant progress, there are still a few areas that require attention or are in the final stages of completion. Here’s what we’re working on right now:

• Battlepass Config Adjustment – The default pass configuration needs updating to reflect the current Battlepass season. This ensures all players receive the correct rewards and challenges. Expect this to be completed soon.
• Geyser (Bedrock Support) – Once the server is fully live, we’ll be adding Geyser to allow Bedrock players to connect and enjoy the experience alongside Java players. This update will significantly expand our player base, allowing for cross-platform play.
• Vote Sites Transfer – We’re in the process of transferring all vote sites to the new server. This will ensure that every vote you cast contributes properly to your in-game rewards and helps boost the server.
• Store Finalization – The in-game store is about 70% complete. We’re working on finalizing prices, adding the last few items, and ensuring the checkout process runs smoothly. Expect the store to be fully operational soon.
• Website Update (rtxgaming.net) – Our homepage at rtxgaming.net needs to be refreshed to reflect recent updates, new features, and changes. This will ensure new and existing players can easily find all the information they need.

Waiting on Response from Plugin Developer:

We’re currently waiting on the plugin developer to assist with the following issue:

• Mystery Box + Lootbox Not Working Properly – Players have reported issues with Mystery Boxes and Lootboxes not triggering rewards or opening correctly. We’ve contacted the plugin developer and are awaiting a patch or solution. In the meantime, we recommend holding off on using any unopened boxes to avoid potential item loss.

Server Update: Exciting Bug Fixes, New Features, and Future Plans!

We’re thrilled to announce that the server is up and running smoothly, and the development team is hard at work ironing out any lingering bugs. Here’s a rundown of what’s been fixed so far, along with some exciting updates and plans for the future.

Recent Bug Fixes:

1. Dragon Burst Enchant Nerf: The Dragon Burst Enchant was previously overpowered, granting players double rewards for everything. This has now been nerfed to bring it back in line with other gameplay elements and ensure a more balanced experience for everyone.

2. Crate Fixes: Crates were handing out rewards that didn’t scale properly with player level and rank. This issue has been resolved, and crates now give out rewards that are appropriate and scale based on your rank, making progression more satisfying and worthwhile.

3. Vote System Integration: We’ve fully integrated the vote system, and it’s working seamlessly with VoteParty. This means that every vote counts toward triggering VoteParties, where everyone on the server can enjoy bonus rewards. Don’t forget to vote daily!

4. /fly Enabled for Cells and Mines: To improve safety and convenience, we’ve enabled the /fly command in Cells and Mines. This change ensures that players don’t accidentally fall to their deaths or get caught by lasers while mining or exploring.

5. Admin GUI Bug Fix: A bug caused some admin GUI panels to be visible to all players, which created confusion and potential issues. This has now been fixed, and only authorized staff can access these panels.

6. IP Blacklisting to Prevent Botting Attacks: We’ve taken extra security measures by blacklisting common botting IP addresses. This will help prevent brute force attacks, making the server more secure and enjoyable for all legitimate players.

7. Gemshop Balancing: The Gemshop has been reworked to match the exponential output of the GemFinder enchant. The shop’s value has been increased to reflect this, but we may adjust it further in future updates depending on feedback and balance concerns.

8. Custom Enchants Optimized: One of the most significant backend improvements is that custom enchants are now processed asynchronously. This means that enchant calculations are done off the main server thread, making the server faster, more responsive, and less prone to lag during intense gameplay.

9. Additional Backend Optimizations: We’ve made various other optimizations to improve server stability and performance. These changes should result in a smoother experience for everyone, even during peak times.

What’s Coming Next?

We have some exciting plans in the pipeline! One of the biggest updates we’re working on is /donor mines. These special mines will be significantly larger and come with exclusive perks for those who contribute to the server’s growth. Expect additional benefits like higher resource yields and exclusive enchantments.

How to Join the RTXGaming Prison Server

Step 1: Open Minecraft

• Launch Minecraft from your computer.

Step 2: Select the Correct Version

• Make sure your Minecraft is running version 1.20.4. If you are not on the correct version, follow these steps:
  1. Open the Minecraft Launcher.
  2. In the launcher, click the "Installations" tab at the top.
  3. Click "New Installation" to create a new profile.
  4. Set the version to 1.20.4 from the dropdown list.
  5. Name the installation (optional) and click "Create".
  6. Go back to the "Play" tab and select the profile you just created.
  7. Click "Play".

Step 3: Navigate to Multiplayer

• Once you're in the main Minecraft menu, click on "Multiplayer".

Step 4: Add the RTXGaming Prison Server

• Click "Add Server".
• In the Server Name field, type: RTXGaming Prison
• In the Server Address field, type: mc.rtxgaming.net

Step 5: Join the Server

• Click "Done" to save the server details.
• Now, you should see the RTXGaming server listed in your multiplayer servers.
• Select it and click "Join Server".

Step 6: Start Playing!

• Once connected, you’ll be in the RTXGaming Prison server! Follow any in-game instructions to get started in the prison game mode.
